Neotel Prime and Windows 7

Hi guys, seems the link to get the updated drivers have been diverted to the home page! NEOTEL I HATE YOU! why do these people always have to torture us and make eerything as difficult as possible????

Anyone with a link or can upload them somewhere because my cd install is not having ANY of windows 7 no matter what order or anything else I try :( Please help someone???

Style

I got v1.9 of the NeoConnect Manager software under Contact Us > Support > Drivers: http://www.neotel.co.za/wps/portal/!ut/p/c4/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3gL52AnczcPIwMLMw9DA0_vAB9_M2NjY29XU_2CbEdFAN49K7s!/

But it didn't work on my Win7 - also getting the 'cannot find phone' error message. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode as one of the other posts recommends. Hopefully this will do the trick.

Right now i'm aware of the drivers for thre prime and the compatibility wit 64 bit windows 7. (not 32 bit though)
This and Snow Leopard 10.6.versions above 0.

Not sure what you're trying to say here - are there Win7 specific drivers but only for 64bit?

I still could not get it working on Win 7 (32 bit). I tried both the XP and Vista drivers and running in compatibility modes but still get the same error - 'cannot connect to phone'. I'm not loving the Neotel website for troubleshooting as I can't even find a troubleshooting section, let alone the error I'm experiencing.

Not sure why the drivers seem to work on some Win7's but not all - anyone got it working on 32bit install?

And now the Neotel website is down! I get the feeling I'm not going to sort out my problem today, and I was even thinking about phoning their call centre...

Ok, seemed my sentence didn't make sense either. We got 64 bit driver compatibility issues and snow leopard as below issues, but no probs with the 32bit drivers for win7 though...

Cool, thought I was spending too much time in front of the screen... So, any suggestions on how to resolve this "cannot connect to phone" issue on Win7 32bit?

I'm at the point where I'm thinking of trying it on Win XP or phoning the Neotel call centre but that would be giving up.

Good Day Everyone.

Hold back your thought on having to down back to XP, we might have a near solution onhand for the 64bit and Mac SL driver compatibility issues.
Give me a week so I can give decent feedback regarding this, and a possible solution.

Thanks Hugo. I'm a bit surprised that the manufacturer, duPont I believe, did not provide drivers when Win7 came out. Surely Neotel is not the only company using this hardware.

Afternoon Everyone.

Will be sending to those of you in need, a beta driver for the respective Win 7 64bit and Mac OS 10.6 up versions.
Could you send mea mail on outlook for those requiring the driver.
The tests our side reflect its stable and works.
So if each of you needing them can run with it as well and let me know feedback, it'll help us.

Thanks.

Hugo
