Signal Strength Problems: Fluctuations, Weak, None, Disco Lights etc

Ok iBursters & Burst-iz, I am creating this new thread specifically to document problems with Signal Strength or lack thereof.

Please categorise the problem
(e.g. Fluctuations, Weak, None, Disco Lights etc)
then mention the base-station(s) that your UT is known to connect to (helpdesk have access to base-station connection info). If there's anything else you can think of that's relevant (like you are or are not using an external antenna - effective 2010+) then mention that as well.

If this thread gets a reasonable number of posts it could be stickied, but it isn't necessary right now - considering all the other threads that WBS have yet to address to the point where they can be unstuck.

     Problem: Weak & Fluctuating Signal 1..3 leds
Base-station: Bryanston Water Tower
     Started: 2005-02-17 after 15:00
   More info: signal strength was 4..5 leds for most of the day
