Imo I'd get the Coolermaster 690 >.> Been eyeing it out for a while now, just can't seem to find one with a see through side panel.

I have the Smilodon extreme black edition - Very nice case!

What I really like about the case is the solid build quality; it is a pretty heavy case due to this, but solid never the less.

I have never had a problem with regard to space, but I guess if you going to throw 5 or 6 drives in it you going to run out. Cooling is great, I have even disconnected 2 of the fans on the case and still have no problems.

The removable mobo tray for me was a god send, makes life so much easier, even when it comes to cleaning.

Overall I would recommend this case, its build quality for me is great and it looks cool.
Just be careful of what you clean the see through plastic with as it scratches pretty easily so use a soft cloth.

Cases are not the kind of hardware that loose value like Gfx cards etc. It makes perfect sense that it is still around the same price.

Nice looking case the Raidmax... Buuuuut, do they have dust filters? I'm a bit obsessive about dust getting into my pc >.>

    That's good to hear.
And yes, the idea of having a removable mobo tray is really appealing.

I've had my smilodon for about 2years. I love it.

My only gripe is that it's heavy. Otherwise no complaints.

I paid R1200 for mine though. I've got 4 hard drives and 2 cd roms inside with an 8800 and still space for more.

The way the side panels open is just awesome.

Yeah the side panels are awesome - can swing open or even be removed - but yeah - solid as a rock and as heavy too.

I'm thinking one can put 9 hard drives in and a DVD Drive if you use the 5 inch bays for the HDD's....

you can always screw them in somehow or something but is there an easier way - like a HDD sized bay that fits into the 5 inch bay area? no idea why there are 4 DVD-Drive sized bays in these things... (1 DVD drive and a Zalman cooling monitor thing - what else???)

Then again, between the Ninja and the Smilodon, I'd have the latter.

Checked out a video on youtube about the Ninja, doesn't look as nice.
Also no removable mobo tray it would seem at a glance.

yea that sagitta is pretty freaky... dont worry about someone stealing it, probably scare them away!!! use it as a heavy object to throw i guess. id buy that case, i mean, look at all the uses. its not only a case, but a watch dog and a weapon

not only is the mobo tray removable, but the whole right side panel can easily be removed too, if there are GFX Cards plugged into your mobo (The tray won't be removable then)
the whole design is pretty smart if you ask me...
