Line Speed Upgrade @ Telkom

So I took the plunge from 384k to the 4mb line on 23 September. Telkom agent was very friendly and helpfull with estimated 24hours upgrade time.

Now it's 5 days later still no 4mb upgrade. What is the standard Turn around time for this?

Shouldn't this just be a software setting from telkoms side?
 
same problem but from 384 ti 512. suposedly 48 hours. phone 0800 375 375 and k*k them out!!! it worked for me!
 
Line upgrades can be done over the phone, i know since iv done it :)
Ask them about 8mbit while ur at it
 
I did the same thing in '08 and it was less than 30mins :D

EDIT: Applied directly at the branch . . .
 
Did you remember to reset your ADSL modem, without resetting the modem you will remain synced at the old rate.
 
I went to my local Telkom shop and it was up and running by the time I got home 30min
 
So I spoke to Telkom. Apparently there is a fault at their networks. Will phone me tommorrow as their 4 hours reply time is past 5 closing time.

So Waiting for tommorow 8h00
