Voip Conference

Hi,

I received the following email today, perhaps other users did too? I think this lady got my address from www.hellkom.co.za or somewhere on MyAdsl. I thought perhaps some people would be interested in getting in contact with her? I unfortunately am not capable of doing what she is asking, but I think most users here are.

My name is Claudia and I work at a corporate conferencing company. I am presently working on a VoIP conference and am interested in having a panel discussion on Telkom's ADSL Policy and the capping. However would like a bit of guidance on structuring my topic as well as a suggestion on the speaker panel. Your group seems to be committed in your argument against Telkom and if some one among you, has the interest in being on the panel - as well as the right credentials - please feel free to email or call me. I welcome any suggestions.

I do hope you can help me and this is urgent, so I would appreciate a speedy response.

I am sure there are MANY more companies like this out there. How can we rally them all together and increase the Telkom Killing Force? Is their someway to advertise to all business and ask them if they wish to screw over Telkom?

Here's a suggestion for you, in the nicest possible way: this is a non-profit forum with a member complement that will not provide assistance to a commercial endeavour, without firm evidence of contributory worth in meeting its objectives. This may, for example, be in the nature of offering to host an ADSL lunch at no cost to forumites, or providing conference assistance for sections of the MyADSL community who may wish to meet physically as opposed to the virtual space, and so on. Without clear evidence of your willingness to provide such worth, methinx you stand a snowball's chance in hell...
