Ubuntu netbook remix UI on Desktop Ubuntu

I decided to use the netbook theme on my ubuntu desk...
Code: 
sudo apt-get install human-netbook-theme maximus window-picker-applet
Need to Turn off Compiz since I don't use it anymore anyway, then applied the netbook theme.

I prefer it this way to be honest, nice and minimal.

I prefer several windows side-by-side... Why else have 1920 x 1080 :D
 
I just did the same to my Netbook (was running standard Ubuntu) yesterday and I'm really loving it. Its much slicker than it use to be. Actually doing my desktop tonight.
 
WHAAT!? Why! I have a netbook - and I am running Ubuntu Netbook remix, and I just switched that horrid stuff off. Its such as waste of space!
 
OK, so I got netbook remix running on my Desktop and I'm loving it - realised that I had to switch the desktop to netbook-remix first to get it working 100%.

I have a 19" wide and love how it conserves my real-estate. Hey, it works for me but may not work for you.
