Best Gaming Keyboard

I love the Razer Lycosa. Some people will disagree, but for me it is absolutely perfect in every way.

It's very subjective and difficult which is "best". I have a MERC stealth and I really do like it a lot. My GF has a G11 and it's a really nice keyboard but I prefer the MERC. Then again I had a razer tarantula before which was a really awesome keyboard. So for me I think Razer/MERC >/= Logitech. It all depends on the models of each make though.

The Logitech G series boards are downright fugly, no matter how you try to justify it.

Buy a cheap board, play the crap out of it and replace it when it's broken. Simple as that.

The only issue with cheap boards is that they allow for a maximum of three concurrent key presses or something ridiculous, which doesn't really help when trying to, say, go forwards, strafe, jump, crouch and walk all at the same time (I'm looking at you, counter-strike)

G series keyboards are awesome! And Matrix having the G11 for just R450 made it absolutely irresistible!

I have been playing FPS games since.. well, that would give away the fact that I am ancient.. and I have never had that issue. Sounds like a marketing gimmick.

(And I would break all my knuckles trying all that at once) ;)

Microsoft SideWinder X6 is by far the best! And NAG seems to think so too (look at Dream Machine).

I have the Microsoft Sidewinder X6. Best I have owned :)

You go according to their "dream machine"...?

That wasn't the motivation behind it. I was simply saying that they seem to think so too. When I saw it was part of their dream machine I had already owned mine for over 4 months.
