ADSL in Randpark Ridge JHB

Hi

Can someone please let me know if Randpark Ridge (Hilary Street) is ADSL compatable, as per telkom it is, but they will need to send out a techie to be sure. I have read a post on this site that it is not supported because apparently that area only fibre. I would really appreciate some feedback on this.

Reason I need this info: I'm looking at renting a place there, and don't wanna be stuck without ADSL.

NB: If possible could you give me your street name.

Randpark Ridge exchange is ADSL compatible.
The problem is most town house complexes in the area (and there are tons) have the problem where they are connected via fibre and that is not compatible. You should not have any problems in a house though.

But why go for ADSL? There is decent Sentech and iBurst coverage in Randpark Ridge.

I have phoned telkom, according to them it does support it, if there is no fibre inbetween me and the exchange.
