Anybody out there who's is busy with ACII on pc? I'd like to hear opinions on the game.
 
Played it on the Xbox360 and it was loads of fun. I'd try and get a controller to play it on the PC tho. Mouse and keyboard will work just not as well IMHO.

You should have better graphix as well..... lucky bastards. :)
 
The control system on the PC is actually very fluid and fun.

Sure it works, but definitely not as good as the Xbox controller. Rather get one of those for your PC, then you'll wonder how you ever managed to play a 3rd person action game without one.
 
I heard the server went down on Sunday, and Monday afternoon I heard some complaints about it still being down. Not sure when (or more likely, if) it came back online. Anyways. Lol.
 
Can I not find one game these days without bugs (or can the bugs just not find me, please...)!? Have met Da Vinci and am supposed to carry a parcel back to my house. On the HUD I get the option to pick up the package when I get close to it, but nothing happens when I press the key. Suspect I might have kicked the package off it's original spot when I first approached it. WTF!?
 
Don't press and hold - tap shift twice and it'll pick it up.
 
mmm this game looks interesting, think i am going to give this a try, played the first one for a short while till i had pc problems and just never got round to it again.
 
Didn't have to try the shift double tap. When I resumed the game tonight, the package was back in it's original position and I could pick it up no problem.
 
playing this game and quite enjoying it. No drm issues as yet. Definitely better than the 1st one. Some performance slow downs in busy cities on my gtx295 core 2 duo, 8gig ram system ... But i am playing maxed at 1920x1200 ... Good story, nice game thus far ...
 
I am nearly finished with the game. Had very little drm issues, probably had a connection issue for max of 5 minutes. Much better than the first one I really like the villa management. I played with an xbox 360 controller for windows(like I do with all platformers and sports games). Only complaint is one I have with each and every platformer and that's not having the option to save whereever you are. My rating would be 85/100.

but its not my type of game:

BUT BEFORE YOU BUY IT - Make sure you understand the New Copy Protection stuff (u have to be constantly connected to the internet, if you loose connection it quits) however, there is something to fix that....

It doesn't quite. The game pauses till you reestablish the connection.
