Raithlin, you seem to be one of the lucky few who still has decent speed from a 2Mb modem.

It seems like our moaning is going on deaf ears
Ok did a few test to see what is wrong with my internet speeds:
1) Changed the firmware: no change
2) Changed the location: same
3) Changed os and driver: stil nothing
4) Even used a diffrent PC: Nothing
So is it still my fault???
I am waiting for Melanie to get back to me on sending the RF Tech tomorrow or Friday (only time I have free to do something else besides work) and will then see what the issue is with this sloooooooooooooooooooooooow speed with this 2Mb modem.
The endless wait begins, only to find out nothing is wrong
lol 1mbps destop modem at work gets 2 times more than my 2mbps

Cost me to get a technician out and place an omni on my roof - not something I needed with the 1Mb modem. The test is also slightly random - I get great speeds now, and the next time I run it they are half the speed. This one is a true reflection - daily usage is usually at this speed.

RF tech here now and fitting flat panel antenna. Will give feedback later.
Before flat-panel antenna (did this test about 2 minutes before the RF Tech arrived at around 2pm):

After flat-panel antenna was fitted on a 3 metre high pole to the first floor of our place (tested at 7-47pm):

Um ja, OK.........
I will rather keep quiet because if I say anything right now I will get banned from this forum for excessive bad language.
Will rather do more Speedtests later and update again.
