Default PDF to Flash Flipbook (Self hosted solution)

    Hey Guys,

I was wondering if any of you guys have used PDF to Flash Flipbook software before... Whats your experience with this?

Do you know of any Desktop app that would allow you to upload your pdf pages and then convert it to the flash flipbook? Preferably, you should be able to upload it to your own server... it should also support click tracking and or analytics...

And it shouldnt have a interface that clutters the whole screen when your viewing the final product online. A crisp clean look and feel should be nice.

    Thanks Anton

do you mean something that looks like this (http://issuu.com/itopia/docs/april20...owFlipBtn=true) but that you can create offline and host and manage yourself?

Ha ha - Yeah Milkmag is interesting, but I liked the previous Version, not the revamped one. Anyway, but yes, i like the issuu version but I really do not want to pay a monthly subscription fee, therefor I will need one that I can upload to my own server and host it myself.

Lets relook it, It doesnt have to be a desktop application, but it will have to be a script on my own server..

    Thanks

This seems to be the new (might not be new though cos I'm always the last to find out) thing when it comes to online mags so there should be a few "free"or limited options where its hosted by someone else.
If its free but hosted elsewhere (although placed in your site) would that suit you?

Hey Mantis, no not really, because then your fate is signed over to that company, if they decide to close down for whatever reason, you're pretty much stuffed... I really do not want to host it with someone else, we really need to be in control of this ebook, and if it means that I have to pay for the script or software, then so be it, 2 rules though, I do not want to pay a monthly subscription and I do not want to host it with someone else...

    Thanks Anton
