Pretoria
Salary highly negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

A company based in Pretoria is looking for a Software Test Engineer / Software Development Engineer with at least 3 – 5 years work experience and above average marks

Tertiary Education Requirements:
BEng Electronic Engineering or Better
BEng Computer Engineering or Better
BSc Computer Science or Better

Experience Required:

Experience in:
• Good C++ knowledge and development experience
• Software Development
• Software Maintenance

Other skills/abilities:
• Must be able to understand formal protocol specification;
• Be inquisitive of nature;
• The ability to understand how the product solve the client’s problems;
• A feeling for client requirements;
• Have the ability to uncover faults in a system.

The position comprises of:
• Performing testing of modem protocol and waveform code;
• Implementation of new protocols or waveform software;
• Development of new tests to verify code to formal specification and client
Requirements.
