Torrents - Incoming connections

I've been downloading a few torrents and had a green icon in uTorrent fine, my PCs firewall (Comodo) is setup to allow uTorrent in/out and my router is port forwarding to my machine fine.

From a few days ago I'm only getting a yellow/red icon in uTorrent, but my settings/hardware are all the same, to get a green icon again I've had to set a rule in my router's firewall to allow my uTorrent port through to my machine (in addition to port forwarding).

I did not have to do that before, why should it suddenly matter? I'm on Webafrica, is it possibly due to the SAIX maintenance?
 
Do you see any uploading going on ? Sometimes the indication of a yellow / red tracker is only based on no one downloading from you
 
Should have mentioned it was downloading and uploading slowly, since setting the firewall rule it's going fast again though. Maybe possible that I was just too impatient for it to start working?
 
Give it a minute or two.. ;-)
Also, probably not the best place to ask - but what trackers are you using ?
 
its because your a pirate, the internet god are punishing you :p
 
red is bad...orange and green is the same...orange just meanse some poeple wont be able to connect to you.
So if it's international don't worry about orange.

RED - eish, you screwed up something :) could a gazillion things...ISP,firewall, router firewall etc...
have you tried another isp?

also redo your port forward http://portforward.com/
 
Red is bad, but if it's anything but green, then there is a problem with connection. It may just be temporary, but it is annoying cause you need to seed or you'll get kicked from the torrent site:)
