I am glad to announce the winners of the MyBroadband Soccer World Cup Photo Competition.

The lake is quite small opposite the PE stadium. Could of been on the jetty. Well, Congratz to all the winners.

I was actually standing on the embankment of the lake taking this photo across from Telkom. I used my 400D, 50mm @ f8 with a 2 second shutter speed and ISO 200. I was pretty stupid to shoot on the soft, bouncy grass instead of backing up and shooting on the side walk.

I found some of my shots were blurry because the grass wasn't stable and must have moved when the shutter fired :/ Maybe the thought of being mugged crossed my mind so I probably did the shot hastily.
Oh yes, my white balance was set to Fluorescent so that's why the flood lights came out blueish in colour

Mine is a panorama of 2 portrait photos taken during the Germany vs Australia game where they lit the arch up as in the pic... Taken with a 450D and kit 18-55 IS , merged and edited in lightroom/photoshop.

Thanks MyBB for the awesome competitions and prizes :) keep it up :p
