I'm just wondering what the monthly fee is.
Microsoft told me they were my solution, so I told them I wanted my problem back.

"The company confirmed that it is also developing prepaid services for their NeoConnect Prime and NeoFlex products, and is planning to launch prepaid data bundles with a lower per-MB rate."

We have one of these Neo Connect Lite devices. It does not stay connected to the internet for longer than a few seconds. It disconnects almost immediately. it is impossible to use as an internet device.

Eventually we gave up and now we only use it for voice (which works surprisingly well).

Yeah, voice works fine but that's about it. Can't say i was impressed with the other services they provided.

R205 per gig, and at such low speeds... how they can even put this out on the market is baffling. I realise it's meant fro voice, but come on...

From a consumer point of view, Neotel is the most irrelevant player in the market. I honestly don't think Neotel even cares either. Sadly for them, they could have made such an enormous impact on consumers, but they chose to ignore us at the start. I thnk Neotel underestimates the amount of bad blood they've created with their strategy. They probably think by throwing us a left-over bone every once in a while they can string us along until THEY are ready to take US seriously. But by then, Neotel, it will be much too little too late. You don't play in the consumer market. Stop pretending and wasting our time.

Telkom, Neotel, ICASA and the DoC are national embarrassments.

    We will not be silent.

Neotel is the most embarrasing thing that happened to South African telecomms. They make Telkom look like gods.

This is the real value of the device. I was never disappointed with the voice quality.

    Angry

Just got the Neohell newsletter announcing their pondering about going prepaid. Needless to say the newsletter is unreadable www.neotelnews.com . Why are these people so determined to fail at everything they attempt.
