I am so excited. Just took my weekly visit to the OpenWebsite, and saw this big banner advertising 4Mbps after hours uncapped for R399! Has anyone seens this, or tried this!?

I have their Vodacom business account, and it works really well! I wonder if this is on the same network?

Account Information

* Shaped - P2P, torrents and similar will be shaped.
* Limited Release! Limited stock available
* Once the 10GB's of daytime traffic is used up, the account will hardcap. You will be able to topup at R89 per GB, and keep daytime bandwidth available in order to keep the account going.
* After Hours times: 20:00pm to 07:00am Monday to Friday and Friday 20:00pm until Monday 07:00am.
* The account requires the mandatory activation of a debit order. The initial payment may be via credit card or EFT.
* 1 concurrent ADSL connection
* Excludes Telkom ADSL line rental
* This is a beta product, thus no speed guarantees can be made.

looks good but have some doubts

IMHO it should be unshaped afterhours ... unless i'm reading it wrong

This product is obviously NOT for P2P. I don't know how many clues you need that this will not work very well for P2P.

But yeah for anything else it will be awesome.

I dont like the looks of this product.. An unshaped after hours product would be much better received IMO.. Even if it was the price of the usual uncapped 4Mb products..

No a R100 more ..
So you save R100 but but how many hours do you get from 'after hours'?
So what you save 20% over normal uncapped products but get no internet for atleast 50% of the day?.. No thank you.
I go through 10GBs in a day most of the time.. so their little 10GB a day is puny..

uhm this smells like a marketing thread the OP sounds like he works for openweb :)

Will there be a montly usage limit here, measured on your after hour usage?

R295 for a 100Gb after hours account is not that bad. Although other uncapped offers looks better but sainet is not bad.

I'm shocked that openweb is asking this much for the exact same account sold from the exact same provider sainet is using.

Both accounts use bandwidth supplied by Neology using seacom bandwidth.

100gig limit for 4 meg users.... Check the AUP. Its a 110gig account basicly, but 10 gigs can only be used during office hours.

For that price 110gb is perfect man, just over 500 bucks for 200gb is decent as long as the speed is good at night, it looks a solid deal to me.

I only do around 150-200meg so if i get the call i have found the replacement.
