Have been searching the net and I have yet to find anything conclusive. I see there are a few posts regarding obtaining music through Android Market, can anyone advise how the whole thing works?

We don't even have paid apps in SA, how will you pay for music via the Android Market :/
 
Just use the Nokia Store. Access directly from your browser, the tracks are MP3 and DRM free.
 
grab your data cable and plug the thing in, any music store would then work you could even copy your favourite sailing songs about pirates or some random cd you got off ebay

Don't even need the cable just connect to a wireless router & copy files from your PC
