Hats of to the Kings, they outplayed the Bulls last night convincingly.
I know that was the Bulls "B" Team, but if that is your guys excuse then why didn't you play with your strongest team?
Besides, anyone takes 2 - 4 matches to be at their prime..

Reds and Melbourne Rebels of to a good start. The unknown team might prove to be the downfall of a few bigger sides.

Congrats to the Kings but I won't read anything into this result except that the Bulls might be lacking a little bit of depth this year, especially in experience and leadership.

I only watched the match this afternoon and the Bulls had more than enough opportunities to score tries and claim victory but the experience and composure to finish was not there. The young players were trying to rush things and lost possession in critical try-scoring positions. With players like Spies, Matfield, Botha, Steenkamp, Stegmann, Potgieter, Du Preez, Steyn, Olivier, Hougaard, Van den Heever, Bjorn Basson and Kirchner I'm sure they will be one of the major forces this season.

I'm not taking anything away from the Kings. They played great rugby with good defense and the two tries they scored were pure bliss and textbook stuff.

Early days for the Bulls. Most of the sides are still shrugging off their short break. They'll hit their straps soon enough.

Very true that. In fact, last year the sharkies took 5 matches just to get out of the losing habit.

Know it is just a warm up match but the Lions just made a MASSIVE statement by crushing the Sharks 41-10 at Newlands.

I guess they have a point to make in a warm up game. Interesting score though ^^

Could be a typical slow start for sharks Who knows..

The Lions lost Andre Pretorius to a grade one hamstring injury shortly before halftime, with Burton Francis making a good impression when he came on as a replacement.

Andre unlikely to last the season. He hasn't the hamstrings for rugby, poor bugger...

Worst news ever! The poor guy has the worst luck. Maybe he should hang up his boots and become a kicking coach?
