K3570-Z (Vodacom R399 Special) Modem and Ubuntu Linux. How to?

Is there an easy way to do this?

I went to Betavine and found drivers for it. But since i dont know Linux all that well, the instructions seem a bit complicated for me.
 
Hi

I got the exact same modem working last night with Ubuntu,
I had to download other drivers and usb switch mode stuff to get it working,
ill post the links tonight when i get home, if i forget just drop me a pm :)

heres the link, instructions are in the txt file :) and normal Ubuntu connection manager should detect your modem, i think it didn't detect mine immediately, but i think after a reboot it worked :)
