Thread: Interconnecting Asterisk

  1. #1

    Default Interconnecting Asterisk

    My situation:
2 SOHO's running Asterisk PBX's and quite a number of clients on broadband.

Firstly what would be the best solution to allow easy dialing between the 2 PBX's but avoiding the PSTN and just going direct through the broadband connection?

Secondly how would clients with say X-Lite clients be able to dial into the Asterisk PBX's - without allocating them internal extensions on the box?

Setup an IAX Trunk between the 2 * PBX, seel link below

So any calls from * PBX 1 to extn 5000-5999 wil be routed to * PBX 2
