Thread: TOP Blu Ray Concert DVD's?

  1. #1

Default TOP Blu Ray Concert DVD's?

Having just recently purchased a blu ray, I am keen on expanding my concert collections?

I have the U2 360 deg concert which is great, and have ordered the Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds "live at radio city hall" - which is AWESOME.

Any other suggestions for great audio/video concerts in blu ray?

As a concert it's great, but personally, I think U2 360 is one of the worst if you want to be wowed by the blu-ray format. Way too much 'artistic' grain added all the time.
Don't know where you ordered from but personally I buy most from amazom.co.uk - generally MUCH better priced than local (ultimate bourne collection on BR is only GBP18). Planet Earth is pretty cool on BR, to get an idea of how cool HD is.

Artistic grain - is that the red colours all over the place?

Have you seen the Dave Matthews one? Really great.

Really irritating. I can't understand why they do it - similar to some of the Depeche Mode concerts.

Nope haven't seen Dave Matthews yet. Got a Bluray drive for my Media Center pc late last year and U2 is the only blu ray concert I have so far. Got lots on DVD, but need to invest in blu ray discs.
