Praesignis is an IT consulting company based in Randburg. We are looking for Business Intelligence Developers to support our customers. We need mature self-starters who will contribute to our team whilst we support your career growth and development. You need to have a good understanding of the solutions consulting environment and be willing to commit to outstanding delivery.
Skills
Three year degree in relevant disciplines: B Com, BSc, BTech. BEng (Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry) or similar;
OR
Two to three year technical training PLUS valid certifications: e.g. National diploma in IT plus Microsoft or Cognos certifications
Experience
Drivers licence and own transport is preferable as you are required to travel to client sites.

- Programming / Systems Development
- Sound knowledge of relational and warehouse databases
- Systems Analysis (Requirements gathering and documentation
- Preparation of functional/technical specifications including source-to-target mapping and flow diagrams
- JAD session facilitation and participation

- Financial / Banking / Insurance
- Manufacturing / Mining
- Government / Parastatal / Municipal
- Preferred: Cognos
- Optional: Business Objects / Qlikview / Microsoft / Other
