Budget HD Video Camera?

Hi guys,

I want to buy a good HD Video Camera, at most R5000.

If anyone can educate me on HD Video camera 101 that would be great.
Also, know of any cheap places?

noticed this from esquire http://specials.esquire.co.za/2011_03_14_CameraSpecial.html , they dont seem all that expensive , although i dont know much about video cameras

You can pick up a GoPro for a lot less I think. Great for sport and outdoor use. Very good video quality.
