HELP ON HOW TO TRACK MBC FREQUENCIES

Hello friends, am facing a big problem, trying to tracking MBC frequencies with 180cm (1.8m) dish, with ku-band LNB installed on it.
the frequency am trying to track was 7.0°W Nilesat 11938.00 polarity: Vertical, symbol rate: 27500 and 7.0°W Nilesat 11766 H 27500.
have done all what i no but i couldn't get through plz GURUS help me out.

You do know those are European signals right? See if you can find some plans for a fractal antenna. That should fix you up :)
 
ok, am inside the footprint am from niferia.
the issue am facing now: it's a fiber dish what kind of ku-band LNB will i use.

Mate, in Nigeria, you will need a 3m C-Band dish to be able to get the signal if you are in the South. In parts of Lagos and the North, you will need a 1.8m C-Band dish. I tracked the satellite once when i was in Cameroon with a 1.8m C-Band dish and a special LNBF. Go to http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-182209.0.html to get more info.
 
That dish is a prime focus, correct? You would probably get better results with a prime focus feedhorn and Ku band flange LNB. Also, is the dish still in a good condition? It looks a little old. Those arms still in the correct positions?

I can't get on Satbeams now, to check what size dish you need, but the guy above sounds like he knows what he is talking about...
 
NSS 7 - 22.0° West with this type of frequency 3644 R 27497, how can i input such frequencies with right (R) and light (L) or check this site to see the frequency your self.

It is possible to receive atlantic bird 7 in South Africa but signal strength is very weak and a lot of crackling on sound output.with fortec liftime and a 2.7m fibre glass prime focus dish .
I use a 2.7m prime focus dish and fuji stargold lnb,Iam busy with a 3.0m dish and will give feed back on signal strength,to track atlantic bird 7 if you in Cape town first align your dish to Astra 4A at 4.8°E and then just lift the dish about 1 cm upwards using 10873 V 27500 as tracking piont.
