Hi Guys.

Just like to inform you guys that Rampage Gaming is terrible.
Two weeks ago I order a EEE pad transformer from them and then said they would get stock in a week. A week went past and I called them to hear if then got stock, but no.
Then they said I will have to wait for another week, So I did and then said they will get stock on the 10th of June. Yesterday I called them and they said it would be delivered today.
Today I called them again and they said that they dont have stock.

Have any of you had any problems wtih Rampage Gaming before?
Thanks

I believe there was a problem on the distributors side. They kept saying that the stock was arriving and it just never did, I have heard about it from a few other people as well.

I'm sure the guys at Rampage will give you a refund if this is the case as they are normally very good about this kind of thing.

Hi. We do apologize about stock being delayed and not arriving in end and we did take responsibility for this and refunded you immediately. ETA is what we got from supplier, most of the time these are accurate but sad truth about living in SA is that stock that is allocated to us is routinely diverted to Europe or the USA and there is nothing we can do about it. For this reason we do try to keep site and ETA as up to date as possible but now and again we do have situations like this where we cannot get stock no matter how much we badger and scream at suppliers. Once again we apologize about this and please ask that all our clients follow the site guidelines asking not to pay until we have confirmed stock is available and not pay for Pre Orders until stock has arrived.

Also had a few problems on a certain order.Mostly my mistake for ordering the wrong ram (doh), and then had nightmares with speed services trying to get the ram back to them, and today I heard from them they also had issues with their couriers sending me the new ram. Hoping it will arrive today. But all in all so far an excellent company (albeit still in the dark ages irt emails lol) which seem to value me as a customer. They went above and beyond my expectations when I made the stupid error.

So still a thumbs up from me :)

Hi, Oky thanks. Thanks for replying voidkun, and the refund. I called other suppliers and they said the shipment was stuck at customs. I check the "usually ships in" and it said on order.

No problem, yes when stock is available we usually get it to clients the next day because we ship it directly from distributors but with new sought after stock like this they're are sometimes major headaches.

My complaint with Rampage Gaming is how rude the one gent was. They didnt reply to emails, they don't answer on the live chat help, they don't reply to the left messages and they love giving unhelpful answers. Not too mention the person sounds like he is stoned on the other end of the phone and couldbt give two hoots.

I asked in a professional manner if he was sure about the dock and keyboard combo and the answer I got was "what supplier told us". The guy can't even be bothered to write in full sentences to customers and actually find out what's happening.

On the other hand, Rebeltech were fanatastic. Replied promptly, professionally and delivered on all their promises.

That's my rant ...thanks...boom

This was correct, stock was stuck in customs. However, Rebel Tech has had stock since Monday morning (13/06)

I do believe that we blaming the wrong people on this one.

Anger should be aimed towards ASUS/Frontosa as they where relaying all kinds of different information, depending on who you spoke to.

Also to be fair the unit stock issues is not a South African problem as I have seen similar reports all over the world in regard to the Transformer and getting hold of the stock.

Lets just hope that most of the issues get sorted promptly, and if you cant wait, change your order to the 32, I did.

Yeah the idiots where using Motorola's forecasts for there production planning :)

They soon realized the error of their ways and moved production to the bigger plant. And yes, reading this on my tablet :)

I must have an incredible amount of patience, I've paid for Rampage Gaming for mine on the 17th of May.

I waited patiently as I was aware of the customs issue.

However, Asus said the 16GB models were released from customs on Friday 24th June.

I'm still waiting.

I'm also having endless problems regarding communications.

Problem solved, after 42 days after I paid them, they tell me they will refund me as they have no stock, even though I pre-ordered 42 days ago? oh well.

Ordered my Transformer via Bidorbuy through Rampage Gaming and confirmed stock and delivery ETA before making the purchase was informed that stock was available and that ETA would be 3 days, promptly made payment and now Rampage Gaming have gone radio silent, no answers to emails, phone calls are answered but the relevant person is "unavailable". Good luck to anybody dealing with these guys

I have had the same problem. Getting any response from them is nearly impossible. I understand if they have supplier problems (why don't they name their supplier??), but they could at least respond to emails and answer their phones. They also do not provide any means of getting order status or eta on their website. I can only assume they don't care..... Next time I will use an internet shop which does care, even if it costs a bit more!

The stoned part, you might not be wrong, and if the owner sees this he/she should fire those guys. They don't even answer emails or when they do they don't answer what you have asked them, they just reply with whatever is already on the website. Plus a huge list of complaint here http://www.hellopeter.com/rampage-gaming-co-za/compliments-and-complaints. Can't you get landline number? How can I spend more than 10k buying from you if I still have to buy airtime to call you, while Telkom is forcing me to pay for a landline, It could have been cheaper to call you ("081" "072" what the hell is that?). What do you mean by not responding to mails, It think it is "go see another shop", yeah I think I will. Seriously I am really p*****, plus I really wanted to call and listen to the voice of "Caleb Followill".
