So, been down pretty much the whole day, cannot get through on the (lack of) help line again, absolutely pathetic, going to be speaking to a lawyer about my account on Monday, spokle to a techie this morning that reckons I downloaded 40+ gb during May when the equipment was seized by the sheriff and I was only online for about 6 or 7 days....I have the fastest 256k line on the planet, cannot believe the nonsense they come up with
So, just a quick update for anyone that is interested, since the technician was here, i had maybe two days of decent connection, now i am once again unable to even open the google home page, or facebook homepage, pathetic service from Screamer(expecting a PM from howzit again), i cannot understand how they have not been shutdown by ICASA or the government, what is happening now can only be explained as theft of their clients money, as i have now paid 4 months subs and not received a decent connection in any of that time. The only course of action is see as reasonable is for Screamer to refund me the cost of the equipment i paid for, as they are unable to supply me with a connection due to their own issues.
Just as an aside, when i contacted the help(or lack thereof) desk, i was told that during the month of May, a month during which i was down from the 5th til the 18th, and the 19th to the 24th, i somehow managed to download more than 40gb on a 256k line, now with a theoretical max of approx 2-2.5gb a day, that would be impossible with the time that my line was connected....so someone has to explain to me how that is possible, considering the rest of the time, the connection was up and down as well, so the max could never have been reached

change your password for your connection IF you can get hold of them . . .
The username and password for screamer wireless and/or wimax are SUPPOSED to be locked to the wireless device, just for the record, it was changed during May....
