Marketplace open?

I see that Engadget is now reporting the Marketplace as being open in SA. Can anyone confirm this?

My phone is on sa and it still says not available. But I have seen one person being able to access it.

Yeah in one of the other forums(cant remember where), a user said it allowed him to access SA Marketplace once he loaded the Mango beta.

Download the latest Zune software and you can access the App store, but you can't move it over to the Phone yet.

Yup, you need the mango update have access to the local marketplace. There's a whole bunch of xbox live games in the marketplace at the moment
Some apps don't appear in our marketplace yet, because the devs have to update it and make it available in the new regions.
But its pretty cool to have to local marketplace available.

I guess not. The other date I heard was 15 September, but I was really hoping for Sept 1 seeing that they already gave it to manufacturers of the new phones.
