Wow, Peter Grant can't even make the top 5 flyhalves in the country!

I would still have picked Mvovo though as I feel he has a lot more pace and strength that could be used to "fill" the slight defensive downside.

Early days for the lad. With a good coach looking out for him, he will get his defence right. The team will miss that attacking ability from deep in their own half. Hopefully Habana will deliver there.

Wales are a very good side but I think we will be hungry and ready for them. I see Gatland is talking up Wales chances of winning the pool, exactly the motivation the Boks need...

They are the toughest of our pool opponents, but like you say, first game, the Boks should be pumped to take the win.

I'm a little afraid of Wales, TBH. They are a good side, yes, but I'm more concerned with our own problems going into the tournament. Enough problems for Wales to potentially capitalize on? Not an impossibility. Samoa and Fiji are going to be bruisers. And Samoa must be thinking to themselves that they've got a very good chance.

Namibia are going to be a feature of the group.;):D

I'd be a little more concerned about Samoa. Late in the tournament we may need the win to ensure a good draw for the play-offs. I do think we will take the Wales game, although I reckon it will be a hard fought affair.

And Namibia for at least one upset would be fantastic! :D

We might.

We'll have to use our B team for Samoa though, they'll just be out to see how many big name players they can injure.

It will depend on where we sit in the pool. It may well require the best side, as Samoa could upset us there. They'll get a huge amount of support from the locals in NZ.

Plenty of quality there. Just reward and recognition for them too.

So does Div allow them to play local games to retain their form?

I'm going to NZ to watch our first three pool matches, leaving in two weeks time!

Should be a great experience. I hope you have 3 straight wins! :)

Enjoy mate and yes 3 wins would make us all very happy.

One of my mates won a Castle trip to NZ for the game vs Wales. 5 star hotel, 5 day stay everything included.... I was a tad green when I heard about it :p:D

Wow! That will be some epic adventure!

I'm also a bit concerned about the game against Whales. If we have a poor game they could take us.

Agreed. They won't be a pushover and have had a reasonable build up to the tournament with solid wins against both England and Argentina. This is a good thing!! I don't believe the Boks will be taking them lightly considering their recent form but ja, playing at less than 90% against a Welsh side firing at 100% and we simply won't win!!

+1. The Welsh have showed that they can defend lions if the the opposing team is not firing 100%. I hope that our new found scrum strength will be given a full run against them.

We've got a Rugby15 pool again. Almost at 250 members. Gilbert RWC Ball up for grabs as well. And we're still negotiating. Might get it signed by the whole Bok squad.

Pool Code: warydole
