Rory Reed is the Chief Executive Officer of AMD (Advanced Micro Devices).
Reed was appointed in August 2011.
Reed was previously Chief Operationg Officer at Lenovo, prior to which he spent 23 years at IBM.
Prior to IBM, Read was executive of Global Business Transformation and Information Technology for IBM's $45 billion Global Services business, where he helped the company as it helped transform organizations into Internet-focused businesses.
Read also served as vice president, e-business Transformation, IBM.com, where he was responsible for defining and implementing IBM.com e-business strategy and execution, and was also based in Tokyo, as general manager, Business Innovation Services, IBM Asia Pacific.
