Is Neotel run on the same undersea cables as Telkom?

At work we have Telkom as an ISP, and we've had some international connectivity issues of late. We're looking into Neotel but it's not going to be any good if they're using the same international links as Telkom. Can anyone confirm if they're different?

Neotel's main undersea cable is Seacom.

Which is currently down.

For at least another 10 days.

As far as i can tell traffic on neotel's network is routed on the best latency to specific destination.
Played around on a neofibre link the other day, Some stuff went via SAT-3 to london and some via Seacom....

We're on Neotel Neobroadband 15mb Fibre at work, and barely a hiccup with the latest Seacom issues. My home ADSL with Mweb suffered pretty badly, but came right as soon as Mweb sorted out their backup. Our backup for the Fibre is Webafrica Business Prepaid, but have yet to use it. I can't vouch for any of the other neotel solutions though, it seems that their consumer solutions havent earned much praise, but probably for reasons other than undersea cable issues.

Neotel has access to 5 undersea cable systems and are not solely dependent on one.

WACS is in the pipeline (so therefore I said 5 and not 4 undersea cables).
