So i was thinking of buying a gift for my sister to go to one of the Health Spa things for a massage and what ever else they do.
Was just wondering if people actually do go alone or should i organize with one of her friends to go with her. Obviously her friend would have to pay for herself.
 
Where about are you based?

We usually go to Life Day Spa or Soulstice Day Spa. Having tried a few others in the Jhb area, these two seemed to offer the most facilities in addition to the usual treatments.

you can buy vouchers through them for just about every day spa in the country
 
Well what i really want to know is if its acceptable for a woman to go their on her own?

I've seen lots of men and women go alone, but generally people go with friends/partners so that they can socialise before and after their treatments.
 
agree that they often go with friends and the like... Although it is ok to go by yourself.

Look at mangwanani, took my SO there last year, and it is really good....

Looking to take my Mom to a spa for her 50th b-day :) Any new awesome places you guys have been too? Will check out the one mentioned above. Also have you guys used any of the Groupon specials to get spa treatments?
