From 7 November 2011 to 9 January 2011, our customers could get the Prepaid and Top Up once-off MyGig 20 data bundle on Broadband Standard and Broadband Advanced for just R499.
Now our Contract customers can also take advantage of this great deal. From 7 December 2011 to 9 January 2011, Contract customers can bolt on a Broadband Standard or Broadband Advanced once-off MyGig 20 data bundle to their existing Contract and pay just R499.

Vodacom has heard you peeps. I have just checked on my sister's contract and it is available for us to activate it for you on the system.

I hope you dont mind me posting this VD. It was kind of a knee jerk reaction I have to admit. I know the peeps here have been complaining about it not being available for contract and I was very excited when I saw my memo waiting for me in my inbox. :-)

well it is a good thing.

But in the bigger picture I think vodacom need to make a big overhaul on their whole data package scheme.

+1. Vodacom needs to upgrade capacity and then roll out with unbeatable data packages, because right now the other networks (read 8ta) is wiping the floor with them.

Terrible reaction from a so called company rep. You could learn a thing or two from CELLC rep who always remains professional.

I would just like to ad a little. I dont agree with you Lino. Even though VodacomData is a rep here, does not mean the guy is not allowed a sense of humour. Even though mybb is a fantastic medium for issues to be reported and resolved....I do think it is also here for EVERYONE to have a good time. If VodacomData or Jannie were to PM me and ask me to tone down my jokes or whatever, then I would rather leave mybb, cause what is the point then if you cant have a laugh now and then.

Just how I see it.

I am sorry that you were offended Lino...but VodacomData cracked a joke...thats all.

Yes vodacon is the greediest company ive ever seen... Their pricing is near insanity

I have to agree with that.. I feel that the vodacom employees on this forum are not presenting a good image for their company.

Hi. I've just phoned Vodacom Data on 155 to have this added as a bolt on to my contract but it appears not to be available according to the lady I spoke to. How do I add it if Customer Service has no idea about it. Any help would be hugely appreciated as I use vast amounts of data in my day to day work as I don't have a landline. This would drop my overheads for the next 2 months beautifully. Please assist in getting me help with this.

It would appear the package has been suspended / discontinued according to the data help desk earlier today ... I'm livid because had I known that the add and T&C's on their website were not valid I wouldn't have put money in an unused prepaid today ...
 
Suspended? But its barely started. Anyone of the vodacom gents can clarify it would be fantastic. Was hoping to have it activated today as I have a load of work that needs uploading.

  • Which one should I choose?
  • Do both have Nightowl?
  • Does the prepaid option have Nightowl?
