Avast Launches Free Android Security Software With Special Features for Rooted Phones

Be careful when you root. I did the rare move if changing phones, by transferring sims, and factory resetting, and it decided the phone was stolen, and the only way to get it to stop sending sms's was to reflash.

LOL, so in essence it was working as designed.

I had a similar issue with Theft Aware, accidentally used the wrong SIM in the phone* and it went all ape about the device being stolen, forgot my password so had to re flash as well :)

*Used the SIM in my Cell C black Speedstick to download something quick and installed the wrong one back into the phone when I was done.

Not exactly. I had disabled it before the swap. But i think i should have maybe re flashed the settings after disabling anti theft.
