Settings for Tenda 3G Router when using USB modem Huawei from 8ta

Hi, can anyone please assist.

I have bought a Tenda 3G300M portable 3G wireless router and need the settings for use with a USB modem from 8ta. Does anyone know if it is compatible?

Yea it's compatible with most modems.

From memory, dial *99# .... Username/password are both blank ... And APN is 'internet'

Did you manage to get it to work. I just bought a Tenda 3G router ad well but I can't get my modem ZTE K4505 to work. I tried on a friends portable Tenda which was already set up and it worked. How do you get the modem to dial and connect ?

ZTE modems are crap, they don't work with any 3G routers and don't play nice on X64 machines....

I saw your post on mybroadbrand and need your help in getting my neotel 3g to work with my tenda 3g router 3g300m. How do i downgrade the software and to what version? What parameters do i fill in? Thanks for your help sir.

honestly, i cant remember what i did.

u probably have to search (google) for the downgrade firmware and download it.

then get into the modem settings and choose the option to upgrade/downgrade from that downloaded file.
