Official Super Rugby Thread 2012

Schmucks supporters tend to be regular emo-crybabies, even more so than apple fanbois.

WTF? Leave apple out of this :D

Interesting piece on SuperXV.com about those with a shot at playoffs. We're looking down the barrel of a gun in the last few weeks of the regular season. For me, the critical upcoming matches will be Sharks / Stormers this w/e (Jaco Peyper), Bulls / Chiefs this weekend (Mark Lawrence) and Bulls / Stormers next weekend (MO not announced). All three of these matches will be nothing short of exhilarating!

You left out the Brumbies. I have an odd feeling that they may be in the final.

The last couple of weeks before the break will count a lot towards who makes the top 6... Going to be AWESOME!

Not sure who this combined sardine and pink bulls team is, but I must point out that for millions of years, sharks have handled storms out at sea with ease. No reason why this weekend would be any different...

Coetzee is making the sharks think that the stormers are tired, but i think its just a trick. watch this space

Now, it is well known that I despise the sharks, fans and all. BUT....

I do believe they have what it takes to undo the stormers. Call it woman's intuition (some chick told me) call it a gut feel (I swallowed fishing line) call it what you want, sharks will not be the pushover that the 'tards were. Stormers will have to up their game to face the sharks, who are most definitely on the hunt.

I like to think that in the last 2 weeks, the Sharks have suddenly woken up and are playing with hunger while the Breezers have been nothing much above lacklustre the same 2 weeks. So yeah, this is gonna be a cracker :)

The Sharks are very poor on offence and our defence has been patchy.

I see the Stormers getting ahead and staying there.

Also, I'm a Sharks supporter and I certainly don't do much whinging about refs and aknowledge that we've looked terrible this season.

We don't have the firepower or tactics to make scoring opportunities agains the top 4 in the competition. Most of the tries we've scored against the good teams have been against the run of play and opportunistic. We've created very few scoring opportunities against good opposition.

Stormers have a way of making their opposition play kak.

Sharks already play kak. For some reason this means the Sharks will win.

Fuk logic.

Yep, there is that and the overall results,
Played 17 matches in Super rugby, Schmucks won 8 and Schmucks lost 9 because of the Ref.

I reckon Mephisto_Helix would make an awesome ref. Pixual as his assistant, but we always run the risk of having our entire backline in the sin-bin then. Tough call...
