"Communications minister Dina Pule says that industry estimates suggest that it will cost somewhere between R60 billion and R89 billion to roll out broadband to all citizens of South Africa."

LoL they are so ambitious, almost 30% of that figure will be corrupted b4 it even hits the network infrastructure dealers.

They also have to get electricity to everyone, and then make sure those of us who already have it dont get cut off

It would actually cost R30 billion to deliver hspa+ 42 to all citizens. And it doesn't have to be free, plus it only takes 2 years to roll out.
