I've read a few reviews. Most have said its the best camera on a phone bar the 12MP nokia. But then again I see some guys on the forum not too impressed.

Its looks good enough for me though.

My contract is up on the 15th of May.... I currently have the HTC Desire (rooted MIUI). Best phone I have ever had! So the One X is my next logical step... Question is, when will it be available?

@nadimm... my wife has the N8 with the 12MP cam, brilliant pics, but rubbish OS!

My upgrade was due in March (contract in May). Also on the desire, running CM7.2. I'm an HTC fan (I even liked Sense - just no ram for it), and I hope that the battery life issue has been resolved - I will wait for more reviews that confirm this.

I flatten my battery every day, but all my stuff is running full time (BT, Wireless and GPS).... so anything better than that is ok with me!

I'm not sure I would be comfortable trading up to Galaxy Note-sized proportions, but the 4.6" screen on the Nexus definitely feels okay to me.
Cool, thanks! I'm really interested in a larger phone and lately there is so much to choose from. A mate of mine just got the Nexus so I'll be harassing him to use it for a few hours!

Like with my HTC Desire aftermarket batteries are the way to go I get about 28-37 hours on one charge with the larger capacity battery. But alas with the lack of a removable battery this phone is a no no, rather wait for the galaxy s3.

What battery do you have. Buying a replacement battery at the moment. Going for a cheap hideous double size double capacity battery from dx.com . The plan is to use my desire as a cycling computer.

And you won't be able to handle a Samsung after having a htc. I've tried.

I think there are 4 android phones to look forward to this year. Maybe 2 more. So its the htc one x, one s, asus padfone and Samsung galaxy s3. The maybe are the new LG optimus something and the Huawei ascend.

I admire Samsung but htc has a more premium feel to it. Galaxy S2 is quite a nice phone but feels super plasticky.!

But I'd pick the asus if possible, the software is near stock android and they're unmatched in providing software updates!

    Just get both.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 as my main phone (insanely fast phone with the best screen in the business) & a HTC Wildfire S as my party/backup phone (love this pocket rocket).
The Samsung Galaxy S2 - It is the only phone you will ever need.

I shall be getting the PadPhone when it eventually comes out. Unless there is some glaring flaw it comes with, like exploding if you turn it upside down or something.
