Pathetic game of rugby, some players clearly making no impact and need to be dropped. Really disappointed by this draw.

What a piss poor game. We have a serious problem in our backline. I dont know whether he was told to play like a knob or if it was his own on field choices he made. Either way today was not a good game by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah it was crap. We clueless in the wet though. Still in these conditions your tactical kicking is key and Morne was shocking in that department. Also his goal kicking was poor. Is our captain and coach aware that Ruan was one of the top goal kickers in Europe this season??? Just wonder sometimes. Hougaard was having a shocker as was Morne so wait till 50 minutes to sub Hougaard and bring on Ruan.

    Anyway.

    Wynand mom for me.

Neh, he was finally average at best, doing what any other 12 we have in this country can do at half pace. Marcell MoM for me.

That Marcell Coetzee is a top class player and man oh man does he put in 100%. I must admit, Steve Walsh had a decent game with the whistle for a change...

Ignoring any mom calls... Aplon showed some really good commitment with some great defense.

Well ... he had yet again a shocker of a game! He should be rested for the next 5years, but Heyneke will never do that. He will stick with Morne until Morne retires. We are at least 20 points better than the poms, but then you need a proper flyhalf! One that does not kick positive possession away.

Yeah, he didnt get too many chances to attack but he also showed why you need more than just a good kicking flyhalf but have a decent kicker at fullback as well.

    He deserves it.

Edit: I don't like booing. This guy has cost us a lot of points in the last couple of games. Why did they not select a different kicker though?

lmao! The irony that Morne is going through the same thing that Ruan went through in 2009. Can you imagine if Ruan replaces him.

    haha.

Why did they not bring on elton or better yet give plan to kick?

Yeah the Boks were way to one dimensional. Plan A didn't work so... well push on with plan A because there was no plan B.
We were determined to hit them with our forwards even though it wasn't working, with their defence brilliant on the day; and when we did send it wide we actually looked like scoring. Bad match IMO, Heyneke needs to up his game (plan).

Yeah I don't know why they keep banging their heads when it's not working.

80 minutes of my life I'll never get back. What a crap game. Gotta give credit to the English though. They were very solid on defense and they read the bok game like a book. Our predictability will be our undoing and considering the hiding the AB's gave the Irish, if we don't come up with some much needed variation in our game plan the AB's will make us look piss poor in the Rugby Championship.

As some have said, Morne has become a serious liability and needs to be demoted to the bench quickly. IMO Grant needs to be given a start. I don't rate Jantjies much but hell I'd even prefer him at no. 10 right now.

Hougaard also had another below-average game. Perhaps its just me but I don't see him being a specialist scrummy like Fourie du Preez was. The oke is at his most dangerous when he has space to work with so I still think he'll make a much better contribution on the wing.

Agree 100%. I don't know what it is with that continuous pick and go BS. For the love of God spread the ball wide...that's what we have a backline for!
