Congratulations, you guys just made me download 89mb of Open office. With english Great fukin Britain chosen. I'm going to be so happy not to have american spelling likeon MS 2003, where even if you change it, it just reverts back all the time.
I looked for afrikaans first of course, because I know you get it in afr, heard it on a RSG the other day when the were talking about OpenSource.
I have used it before in version 1.something , but that wasnt as good as Office so I changed back. Hoping 2.0.2 will be alot better as you say.

Ekhaatvensters : OO does a few things a bit different so don't expect to get something done the first time, but for free software it is really good.
I suppose both OO and Office has there merits but I like OO and I'm not gonna bother with Office 2003 on linux.
Just today I wanted to print out some slides in handout mode, Powerpoint would not allow me to change the size of a slide so I just did it in Impress.

snip from the article: The six month voting window for ISO/IEC adoption of the OASIS OpenDocument Format (ODF) standard closed on May 1, and at midnight (Geneva time) last night it was announced internally that ODF had been approved by the ISO members eligible and interested in casting a vote. The vote passed with broad participation and no negative votes (there were a few abstentions), and ODF is now ISO/IEC 26300. While there are still some procedural steps internal to ISO/IEC that are required before the official text of the standard will be finalized and issued, these steps (described below) are formalities rather than gating factors.
- yay for not being locked into a single vendor with a ...less than... great track record in consumer rights. Also relevant to this whole issue: the software industry's running dogs(bsa.org) ..NOT people you want knocking on your door. Oh, and (for the benefit of said fine outfit(both wikipedia.org)), I've been an OOo user since before it was OOo, back in the StarOffice(wikipedia.org) days! ..and yes, my 1(one) OEM copy of XP Pro is installed on my 1(one) laptop.

I know its pretty different, Ive used it before. But it looked a bit too ugly in previous version and just was as good as Office 2003.
This is a slightly different story with version 2, but Office still looks alot better/professional. Im not shure which one to use now...
Anyway, Ive got it so at least its easdy to install on peoples PC's when they format.

There are ways to play your windows game on linux using something called wine and its derivatives. And there are even some ports to linux like quake and americas army. I'm not a gamer, so excuse the lack of specifics
