It seems so logical and begs the question "Why was it not done by Job's crowd ?"... very very intuitive and almost elegant implementation of form/functionality.

Very clever. I wonder if Apple will implement something similar. IMO the only other issues with iOS at the moment is that a) it would be nice to have shortcuts to wifi and bluetooth from the notifications menu and b) some slightly newer transitions and effects when moving between screens and in and out of apps/folders.
