Default Purchasing a data bundle while on a top up contract?

    Hey all,

So I dial *141*6# and try load a data bundle only to be told insufficient airtime? Yet I have plenty airtime left?

How do you load a data bundle whilst on a top up contract?

    Thx

You can only use a certain % of your given airtime on data. You have to purchase moreairtime that's not part of your contact to get more data.

Included airtime cannot be used for data on MTN.

Yeah and then they advertise that you can use your airtime to what you want when you want! Lol.

And then to top it up, "unlimited" facebook and mxit for R29

but 60c per MB is pretty expensive - considering that we're looking at R600.00 / GB
