Axxess offering 10Mbps uncapped ADSL @ R159.90

I have just seen the banner and visited the website www.axxess.co.za
Now this is an insane weekend special from the Axxess guys!!!
Well done again Axxess! You rock! :)
 
So I take it it's just for one month, I see discount it's not recurring, is that correct? Cause R49 for 4Mb is not bad at all as well!
 
hmmm, this makes its nice and cheap to test!
 
Their specials are bogus. Last month they had a friday the 13th special where if you sign up for the uncapped thing, the first month is half price. I contacted the call center and confirmed that if I took it for the new month it would still be half price for the first month. They said yes it would. I sign up and they charge me full price. When I lodge a complaint it was first ignored and then when I took it further I got one line " It was only for last month" answers. not even attempting to handle the issue, I'm sure they did not even read my email properly.

I've been with axxess for about 5 years now on their uncapped fiber package and for the first time I'm really disappointed with them.
 
It is also just for new clients, thus if your ID has been used before for an account you are out of luck :)
 
Seems you can take it for the month only based on when you allowed to cancel:

Cancellations Policy

The cancellation of a product is your responsibility. Cancellations may be actioned from your control panel. Should you cancel after the 24th and are on the debit order payment method; your cancellation will be effective from the end of the following month (see Debit Orders below). If your payment method is EFT or Credit card you are able to email your cancellation request after the 24th from the email address registered with us to [email protected] before 17:00 on the last day of the month. Emailing your cancellation request does not guarantee that your service will be cancelled.
 
So that means if you cancel before the 24th, you don't pay the full amount for next month?

So because i've used a 1 gig prepaid before I can't then get this?
