Pastel Partner Payroll Query - changing the pay period manually

My sister has asked me to post a question on her behalf regarding pastel payroll.

She has just loaded pastel payroll for the first time and as she has never been formally trained in pastel it has been a bit difficult.

She is wanting to run her first batch of payslips for the end of May (period 3)

However, pastel is showing period 1 (28 Feb to 30 March ) and she does not know how to change this.

She has been trying to get hold of pastel telephonically the whole day today and all she got was an engaged signal. She has sent emails telling them it is urgent and has not had any response.

Can anyone on the forum advise her at all?

In Pastel Payroll, try going to Setup > Pay Frequencies. Make sure the first Month End Date is correct and that the starting month is 3. If she hasn't processed anything yet, she should be able to change the periods in year AFAIK. Else start a new company and make sure the setup is done correctly. Wouldn't want to end up with period problems later on.
