    Question Most Popular iPad Specification

Hi I'm a silver Surfer and used to using a conventional PC but want something to use right in my armchair.
I have a WiFi setup and am prepared to enter into a 3G contract to use on occasions when I'm not at home. Anyone care to suggest a suitable provider with roll over for unused data?
    Do i go for 16, 32 or 64GB?

Dude, i currently have wifi at home and at work, but when i am out and about i needed a solution like yours and therefore ended up with the cell c 3gig once off. Its the best value for money as lasts for a complete year and cost R399.00

I find I have nothing on my iPad anyhow - so 16GB is fine ...

When I'm home and on the wifi, it streams all my media - and when out, I seldom need the media

I suppose it differs from person to person. I bought the 32GB version and know actually wish I had taken the 64GB one. It's not such a problem, but I would have liked to have more space for my music.

    I've got 16GB 3G.

I would say if you're choosing between a 32gb wifi and 16gb 3G, then go 3G route.. If you can afford 32 GB 3G then bonus.. It's not needed but nice to have. I've only got 4GB free, most of my space is used by audio notes though!

No need for 3g if you have a phone with wifi tethering. I got the 16GB non 3g version, I mostly use it at home and like Dolby I just stream everything.

A report I saw about a year ago said that in the States the top-selling model of the iPad2 was the 16GB wifi, closely followed by the 64GB 3G. The 32s weren't selling that well.

Which sort of makes sense. Either you want an ipad to use around the house, or you fancy yourself a road warrior who demands all the bells & whistles. But hey, get the one that makes sense to YOU.

I went for the road warrior specs. No regrets. I only wish Apple would hurry up and make a 128 GB model ... I'm using an existing Vodacom account with 3GB monthly bolted onto it. Haven't managed to exhaust it yet. But I'm off on business for a week soon, we'll see what skype does to that quota.

I've got the 16gb 3g version of the iPad2 and little in the way of regret here. I am however going away for a log overdue holiday soon so I'll be making use of iTunes match so I don't have to make too many decisions around what tunes to take.

My previous iPad was wifi only and I was constantly wishing it had 3G.

I also had the 16gig WiFi, but quickly learnt I had a space dilema and was an inconvenience to have to tether from the Android phone everytime I wanted to go online. I ended up selling and purchasing the 64Gig with Cellular (4G), still haven't regretted going the whole hog with ample space and the convenience of being online without having to haul out the phone.
