Hi guys

Got a widdle problem at work, not sure on how to address it :

We got a group policy which install certain software on the domain PC's.

Now, the software need to be updated, but we want to test the update on one PC before pushing it out to the rest of the PC's.

Add/remove programs in control panel is out of the question, I need to do the update via GPO...

Any ideas on how to proceed?

Server is Windows Server2003.

Easy!
Create a new test GPO, link to an OU, and only assign permissions to either your user account or pc account.
Setup GPO with software setup/update and Bob's your auntie.

You can even add the update software to the current GPO and chang the security settings on the GPO to oly run for your account/pc. When working, change the account security to group as the original software.
