Thread: DSTV BB Advert

    Default DSTV BB Advert

Sitting and watching M-Net with my wife this evening.
This advert comes on showing two groups of people listening to music and stuff on their phones. Then the comment "There are phones that can, and there are phones that can't" - or something like that.
Then this image of a Blackberry phone fills the screen.

I looked at my wife and asked her what the point was of displaying (and advertising) the phone that can't. She just laughed at me

    /yes - trolling (humorous)

Lol, good one :-) I can't browse many sites on my BB9700, it runs out of memory and crashes! Probably getting the Samsung S3 this week on my next contract

The Galaxy S2 was the most popular upgrade path for BB users that I personally know. Now the S3 is out it appears to have changed to that.
Samsung should do some advertising targeting this upgrade path cause it appears that BB users are naturally migrating to the S2/3 already.

You guys are making solid choices - that is for sure.

I can't browse many sites on my 5 year old HTC, it runs out of memory and crashes! Waiting to get the Blackberry 10 phone on my next contract.

I actually own a 2 year old 9800 which still works beautifully. It is up to the owner to update your OS software, because the carriers in SA don't bother to release the updates to us from RIM.
