Just bought the EH5300 it is awesome .
If it walks like a duck and kwaks like a duck ..its a duck
Looks like I will have to go for that one then, really unhappy with game. Hope the EH5300 is also OK...R1000 more but I don't think I will find something like the D6000 for R5000 again.
Having seen quite a few different 5 Series and 6 Series LCDs over the years, I can only assume the D6000 will be streets ahead...
There's a Panasonic 42" FHD plasma for about R7,000. Or 51" HD Ready Samsung/LG plamas for R6,000. Perhaps investigate those if you're looking for picture quality?
That said I doubt you'd be unhappy with the EH5300... Just a feeling of having had a chance to do better, I guess.
I have only enough space for a 40". I'm not that crazed about the quality, I assume any brand name TV will be good enough. If I can't get my hands on a D6000 I will probably go for the EH5300. Any feedback FNfal?
Does the eh5300 play all media formats via usb? my other option is the lg 42le5300 which does but my preference is a sammy... any advice?
Definitely plays HD files, models 2 years old did.
Just stay away from the ones with funny endings like "D5003", these are the diluted versions with fewer settings and no USB media players (they paly photos...). Not sure what the E range equivalents of the diluted versions will be though.
Getting my 40eh5300 this weekend!!Thanks guys!
I am enjoying my one .my room is quite lite so i have not seen any blacks that are not completely black.only thing i miss on this TV is the extra AV socket and the VGA socket but it networks great.
I also have the 32" 550 samsung and this one is quite a lot better
Still waiting for Plex client for this TV to come out![]()
