Any opinions or anyone ever used Oracle University to study?

I am looking to do a JAVA course through them.

nice, what did you do and what are you doing now? i.e what course and what job/career?

I hope it is good, it is *** expensive!

I used them for PL/SQL, forms and reports and java.

I don't use java much these days. Oracle forms and PL/SQL

The java course I did wasn't to learn java(I did that through VZAP), but to learn how to intergrate into the Oracle database using JDeveloper. It was a 2 week course(or a 5 day, I can't remember ).

I didnt know they offered courses to teach java from scratch. Just be careful you are doing the right course.

I keep hearing about vzap but it seems they dont exist anymore?

I am starting with the JAVA SE7 Fundementals and then writing that exam

Then after that I am thinking of doing the JAVA SE7 Programming and exam

am I on the right track?

well it seems they cancelled the course, the bytes consultant is confirming now but i see it is also off the site for those dates. next one is in august :/ sometimes it just feels like the world is against me.

Try to get the student guides for your course on the net *cough* & work through those in the mean time.

Yeah I know I can do that, the reason I want to do the classroom one one shot is that it then covers the practical requirement for the certification one time and has structure.

Well next week Course number 1 will commence, will give feedback of my experience once completed.

Well it was good, I knew 95% of the content already so was a breeze but very good lecturer and nice facility.
