I find mweb very inconsistant of late. I play Diablo 3 and the pings could be low at times and other times it is in the 1000's...which makes the game just unplayable.

Streaming netcasts is another issue.

Is anyone noticing much lower pings on MWEB? I am getting 163ms to UK from PE?

Is Mweb now routing traffic via WACS, or is this improvement due to SEACOM or SAT3 using better routes?

I get an average of 190ms to bbc.co.uk from Durbs...

Same here, didn't do actual tests, but my DOTA2 experience has been super since Friday night

The experience is about the same. I played a bit over the weekend and like I say, the ping various. Sometimes it is green (below 200) other times is it just shocking.

Our phone line has been down since last week Monday. Still no news from Telkscum

Was looking forward to getting our line upgraded to 1mb free of charge but now I'm not sure that our phone line will ever get fixed (sobs)

Mweb is now advertising the 1mb packages, but your completely silent about the rest, what is going on?

Just saw Mewbs new advert that aired in the middle of Cart Blanche R199 for a 1MB, no price on anything els , 2MB, 4MB, and 10MB all has the same price, in accordance with there website.

7 Days till the 31st there own deadline and complete silence from Mweb and co on everything but there 1meg offering, its safe to say at this stage:

Seems we've been had with empty promises and delays and deliberate stall tactics, if I had known this I could have given notice a month ago and could have enjoyed my full 10meg line speed by now.

No price cut TBE

@Void_Kun If your doing 30GB a day, expect a nice AUP email from them and a cut off very soon, as for afrihost and throttling, they already stated on the 10meg they will allow you to do 350GB+ before they throttle.

Funny how that chanced since the last time you posted, do you atleast still have the eta at 1st of August?

OK just for clarification, I noticed the 384 account is no longer available and then that I already am on 1MB but still having the 384 speed... Is this just for administrative purposes on your side and do I still need to wait for the 1st?

I have checked and you account is a 1Mb account, I have tested your line and see your line is still a 384 line.
You will need to wait until Telkom does the line upgrade.
