New ipad cracked screen R1950

I cant believe its going to cost me R1950 to replace my cracked ipad screen after it fell 30cms! No support! Only third party fixers and then no warranty?! Tell me i'm wrong?
 
You break it you buy it. No warranty on that. The screen and touch is glued together (if it's the same as the iPhone 4 series) so you're replacing both.
 
I take full responsibility, but there is no official apple store that can fix it in South Africa!

Really?! That's just dumb. But there's several ifixit type stores in Cape Town for example.
 
New ipads are squishy! Get yourself a strong and sturdy cover or you will be sorry......like me!

Ifixit is fine but u dont know the quality of service/workmanship as its all third party shops.
 
Im in Welkom in the free state as well. I couldnt even buy the new Ipad at any store here!
